Denpasar, 06 October 2025 - In order to commemorate World Sight Day 2025, Bali Mandara Eye Hospital of Bali Province organizes free visual impairment detection examination activities for the community. This activity took place at the Bali Mandara Eye Hospital Polyclinic on October 6-10, 2025.
The program aims to raise public awareness of the importance of maintaining eye health and having regular check-ups, especially for those who have a high risk of serious visual impairment.
The types of examinations provided free of charge include:
-
✅ Glaucoma Screening
-
✅ Diabetic Retinopathy Screening
This activity is prioritized for people who have a history of hypertension or a family history of glaucoma, as well as people with diabetes for more than three years, as these groups are at high risk of permanent vision damage.
Through this activity, Bali Mandara Eye Hospital hopes that the community will become more aware of the importance of early detection of visual impairment. Regular check-ups can help prevent blindness caused by chronic eye diseases such as glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.
As an eye referral hospital in Bali Province, Bali Mandara Eye Hospital continues to be committed to providing professional, quality, and accessible eye health services to all levels of society, in line with the spirit of "Serving with Heart".
