Badung – As a follow-up to the Refractive Error Examination that was previously conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Petang in commemoration of its 24th anniversary, Bali Mandara Eye Hospital once again demonstrated its commitment to maintaining the eye health of school-age children by distributing glasses to students in need.
This activity is part of a series of social services conducted by Bali Mandara Eye Hospital after discovering a number of students with refractive errors such as nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), and astigmatism based on the results of a screening conducted on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Following further examinations and adjustments to lens measurements, the glasses were then prepared according to each student's specific needs.
The school welcomes and appreciates Bali Mandara Eye Hospital's concern for the eye health of its students. With this collaboration, it is hoped that awareness of the importance of regular eye examinations from an early age will increase, both in schools and in the wider community.
Through this activity, Bali Mandara Eye Hospital not only celebrated its 24th anniversary ceremonially, but also presented concrete actions that had a direct impact on the community, especially the younger generation in Badung Regency. Going forward, Bali Mandara Eye Hospital is committed to continuing to present promotional and preventive programs to support the realization of a healthier and more productive Balinese community.
