In commemoration of World Sight Day (WSD) 2025, Bali Mandara Eye Hospital conducted free eye examinations for students of SMPN 3 Selat, Karangasem, on Monday, October 13, 2025.

This activity is part of Bali Mandara Eye Hospital's efforts to increase public awareness, especially the younger generation, of the importance of maintaining eye health and conducting early detection of visual impairment.

The students participated in an eye examination conducted by the medical team of Bali Mandara Eye Hospital. The examination included visual acuity (visus test), screening for refractive errors (minus, plus, and cylinder), and basic eye health examination. From the results of the examination, it was found that a number of students had mild to moderate visual impairment that required glasses.

In addition to examinations, this activity was also filled with eye health education by Bali Mandara Eye Hospital ophthalmologists. This education aims to make students understand the importance of maintaining eye hygiene, limiting excessive use of gadgets, and the importance of regular eye examinations.
