Efforts to improve the quality of the latest safe services at Bali Mandara Eye Hospital (RSMBM) are highly dependent on the provision and maintenance of facilities and infrastructure as needed optimally and on time. Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 44 of 2009 concerning Hospitals mandates that the condition and function of facilities, infrastructure, and physical equipment must be in good condition and can support health services with good and integrated coordination between related agencies starting from planning, procurement, distribution, and maintenance so that facilities can function optimally.

The smooth maintenance of infrastructure facilities in RSMBM is controlled and supervised through the Facilities and Infrastructure Maintenance Information System (SI-PAS) which is an accurate and actual system that presents the maintenance of facilities and infrastructure and allows supervision and control of maintenance efforts so that quality infrastructure maintenance can be carried out on time and can prevent service delays, complaints, and the occurrence of patient safety risks and incidents.

With a good maintenance system, it is hoped that SI-PAS data can be used as accountable reporting material, can be used as evidence of continuous maintenance, and can be used as a reference for better decision making.
